I know the connection with the Hawthorne's and the Harris's in East Texas. Carrie Harris married a Hawthorne. They ran the Moody House in Galveston too, for years and years. It was just within the past few years that Carrie Hawthorne's daughter or daughter-in-law passed away. Email me back for more specific questions and I will try to answer them....I need to pull out my papers on the Hawthorne's. Also, very important it is the Hawthorne's spelled with an e on the end.
