    3. Hi Karen, thanks so much for the info. However, I am still in a quandry as to who the parents of Sarah Aills is, do you know who they are? I don't know where to look for Sarah so I can put Lee Jackson McCorkle in exactly the right place he should be in my files. Also, who is the ancestor you mentioned in your mail? Are they from the Aills branch? If so I would like to have some info on them for my files, also. Thank you Karen, Hope we can get me straightend out on this. I am a litle under the weather, a virus, not to bad, feel better to day. A few days ago I asked for help on Lee J. McCorkle. Who did he belong to? I obtained his Obit from Sandras' file cabinet, but I don't know where to put it. He was 65 when he died. Jinny > > Pam if you see this do you know who and where Lee J. It is funny that in every census his last name is spelled differently. 3. No, parents for Sarah Aills McCorkle elude me...Do documentation whatsoever. My ancestor was James M McCorkle, son of James and Sarah Aills McCorkle. Their family registry gave their marriage 1838 by Reverend Sheldon...Cannot learn more... My James McCorkle moved to Grayson County, TX, then to Cook County, TX and is buried there...He married Mary LaGrand in Huntington, Cabel County, WV...They had several children, but most of them died very young...My grandfather Virgil McCorkle and a brother George McCorkle married and had families.. James McCorkle, father of James and Lee Jackson McCorkle was born in Lawrence County, OH and was the son of John and Mary Holly McCorkle...
