Dear fellow list members, I just wanted to say that I didn't sleep very well last night. I kept thinking about Rhonda and Pam. I am sorry Rhonda is having so much going on in her life and it sounds like she is under overwhelming stress. I haved added her and her family to my ever growing prayer list. I have e- mailed her from time to time because we had not heard from her and I was concerned about her. There are so many things to worry about these days.....prayer works!!!!! I CARE about everyone who contributes to the list and to the My Family Site. We have all worked so hard together and have made so much progress sharing information. What I am trying to say is...... If I would ever rub someone the wrong way that he or she would write to me personally and off of the list to let me know. I believe in treating people the way we all would like to be treated. "Golden Rule" Some of us are passionate about posting the right info for the world to see. Some of what you find is not always correct but! putting it out there also is a valuable tool in finding other researchers who may know something helpful. I believe that is how we all found each other. I recently came across some Ailes info on WFT by a researcher who had renamed our Ailes family "Ables".... I wrote to her directly and gave her info and guess what????? She changed it....Imagine that..... I do not think the list is the place to publicly "flogg" someone. This sort of thing makes me very uncomfortable. I have noticed that we do not have as many people active on our list. I miss you all.... Tarney if you are out here... I miss you and your research. Genealogy is supposed to be fun and a hobby. It helps me take my mind of of things that are worrying me. We spend so much time looking for information about people who are already DEAD...... I think we should also think about the ones who are still here. Life is so short and things can happen in the blink of an eye....Katrina is a good example. Lets not turn this into a "pissing contest". My intentions are not to hurt anyone's feelings and I truly don't think Pam meant to either. However, if I did I am quite sure someone will let me know......... But off the list PLEASE. Liz
