I was wondering if any one could get me behind my brick wall. I am seeking directional help on my grandparents marriage information. Their names are George Thomas Caves and Mittie( thompson) nee: risenhoover. Their marriage date is Jan15,1917. I understand that their is no marriage index for the state of ark and the ark history does not do research. It would seem that I have to do a co by co search. since the family is not sure where the parents were married. is there another way???? There is another question. My uncle denton( there first born) was born in1914 but the narriage reads 1916, were they living out of wed lock or did they fail to record their marriage , until then, what would your guess be????
