Loads of fun last year! Then on Sunday, a short drive (10-12 miles) out to Moro Bay State Park, we will meet and bring covered dishes, fried chicken, salads, cakes, pies, and good food of all sorts. Stories are told, introductions, pictures taken, and the food enjoyed. The park has an air conditioned pavilion area with full kitchen, gift shop, rest rooms, outdoor play areas, etc., so hot or wet weather actually poses no problem. Sunday event goes from mid-morning until mid-afternoon. The park atmosphere and facilities are extremely nice. We welcome all of you and your groups at the reunion. Last year, there were close to 100 people attending and enjoying the fun and fellowship. A number of the descendants of WILLIAM WITHERINGTON, JR. will be attending the Conecuh County gathering. William Witherington, Jr. was the father of the JOHN, JAMES & AUGUSTUS LEVAN WITHERINGTON boys that migrated to Calhoun and Union Counties, AR back about 1845-1847 and whose descendants attend the El Dorado/Moro Bay Reunion each year.
