My great great grandfather's military papers said he fought in the Missouri Raid. I would like to know something about it briefly. Also if there is someone out there that would be willing to do a lookup for James Johnson of 1880 in Petit Jean Township, Logan County to see if James had a middle initial it would help me to try to locate him in 1870 unknown County Alabama. There are so many James in evey surname. James (51) was enumerated with his 30 year old wife, Sarah and James P. 20 Mary F. 16 Andrew 1 all were from Alabama except Sarah. The parents of James was listed as from Georgia. I have written this so that someone will know that it is the right family. Thank you for any assistance possible. Pat
