Kirsten, Do you have any other info on Eva/Ivy LINTON that married James Montgomery? I need to know who her parents were. On the 1870 census, Pope Co., AR, she was living with Charles Edward Campbell and his wife, Elizabeth (Ms. Elizabeth LINTON on their marriage record). Iva was listed as Thomas I. Linton, white, female, age 5yrs. On the 1880 census she is married to James Montgomery. Her mother, Elizabeth, and Chas. E. Campbell also had two sons, John M. (my grandfather) and Edward Allison Campbell. That makes Elizabeth my g grandmother, but I cannot prove which LINTON she had married. I believe he was Thomas J. Linton, but "others" do not!!! I think she was the daughter of Hampton Newton Webb, but again, others do not. If you have anything at all on this Elizabeth I would really appreciate the info.
