    3. John: The locations of Arkansas townships is one of the most often questions asked on this listserve. Magness township is in the extreme northwest part of Lonoke County. There are no "towns" in this township. It is north of Cabot and north of the Little Rock Air Force base. It is an all rural area. An excellent source of information of this kind is the Arkansas Township Atlas published by the Arkansas Genealogical Society, P. O. Box 908,. Hot Springs, AR 71902.
