I am trying to find some pertinent information on my Grandfather William "Bud" Dowd, GGrandfather John Dowd, Grandmother Amanda Carpenter Dowd. Also, Welsey Moses Carpenter. There should have been some newspaper articles in the early 1900's on William Bud Dowd brush with the law and also a brush with the law on John Dowd. I did find some info listed in the Roots Web book section, "AR: Johnson Co: Johnson County Historical Society Journal, submitted by Anita/Wendell Powell," but it was only names and I would also like to find birthdays, etc. Any help on the above is greatly appreciated.
