ADALENE LADY KING Lady King, 89, of Judsonia, died Friday, October 11, 2002. She was born February 23, 1913, in Clay to the Jim and Myrtle Buice Yingling She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by two sons, Lynn Roe King of Lewisville and Sid King of Clinton; one daughter, Deanna Sullivan of Batesville; two brothers, Frank Yingling of Judsonia and J.W. Yingling of Judsonia; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lem King; two sisters, Elma Stewart and Agnes Stewart; and one brother, Lloyd Yingling. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2002, at Bethel Grove Church of Christ with Ed Higginbotham officiating. Song selections were "I'll Meet You In The Morning," "Where The Roses Never Fade," "Amazing Grace," "Take My Hand, Precious Lord," and "Safe In The Arms of Jesus," all sung by a choir directed by Dean Curtis. Pallbearers were Lyn Brewer, Larry Yingling, Clois Griffis, Stan Yingling, Larry Griffis, and Roger Griffis.
