You can take the following for what it is worth: Here is a new, short cut way to refer to your ancestors without having to write great, great, great grandmother, etc. Use the tern great'ma or great'pa, meaning any ancestor before your grandparents. Such as I am researching my "great'ma's family". You can also say "great'pa 4" referring to your g-g-g-g grandfather. Russell P.
