I have been lead by census records to look for my family here in Arkansas. All I really know is Grover Cleveland Hancock was born 4/22/1885 in Ark. Parents are found in 1870 in Ala. and not in 1880. and I have no idea where to look in Ark for Counts relatives. Any help would be appreciated. Family would be in 1880 census records- John Counts age 44 wife Nancy age 32 kids Jacob age 12 Nancy age 10/11 John age 8 Robert age 7 George age 4 Charles age 2 Margaret age 1 Would appreciate any help, even if its I saw Counts family in this County. Torie, I don't find any in Craighead County in 1880. I have a transcribed 1880 census for this county. I checked all names in the index, if it looked like it could be close I checked the page, sorry no matches.
