Phyllis If you live near a city with a large library. ask for the Heritage or genealogy research room. They will show you how to look for your information. there should be an index book for Arkansas census 1870 you find the name you are looking for on the index then they will show you how to find and use the microfilm for that county I have found the people who manage the Heritage room in my library to be very helpful. good luck
