("Jack") Browning, age 73, well known farmer of the Wooster community, died at his home at 1 this morning after a lingering illness. Mr. Browning was a Republican in politics and had served several terms at the minority member of the county election commissioners. He was a native of Mississippi, where he was born March 22, 1857, but had lived in this county the past 45 years. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Browning; four sons, Louis Browning of Conway and Millard, Socrates, and Leo Browning of Wooster, and five daughters, Mrs.J.M. Scott, Mrs. R. O. Robinson, Mrs. M.E. Burchfied and Miss Opal Browning all of Wooster
