Michael I wish, I could be of more help to you . You need to go to the library and ask for a book on genealogical that show the code for the soundex . You match the letters from the name to numbers to get the code. The first letter of the name is also used with the numbers. example: Davenport.....D151 With the number from your name that you are searching for you can cut right through all the census record and go straight to your names to search. Saves lots of time. Not all the records have soundex yet, but large genealogy library will have more. Sometimes they can be ordered. If I had the code with me I would send it to you. You might ask for somebody to send it to you. ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET! Juno now offers FREE Internet Access!
