Browning, aged 77 retired farmer, died at his home, 208 Conark Court about 9:30 last night following an illness of two years. Mr. Browning had lived in and near Conway 70 years. He was born in Mississippi July 3, 1870, and married Nora Davenport, who survives September 19, 1900. He was the oldest member of East Fork Lodge No. F & A M and also was a member of Conway Chapter No. 80, Royal Arch Masons. He is also survived by threee sons, John Browning of Little Rock, Carl Browning of Conway and Cecil Browning of North Little Rock; five daughters, Mrs. Doris Mills and Mrs. Ray Snodgrass of Little Rock, Mrs. Mattie Fulmer and Mrs. Ruth Smith of Conway and Mrs. Hazel Gore of Sioux City, Iowa, 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
