When Louisa died in 1867, Eugene, Phila and charlie were raised by Louisa's eldest daughter, by her marriage to Wilson Fulbright, Mary Ellen Fulbright. Mary Ellen married Thomas M. Jones in Boone Co., AR on Jan. 21, 1872 (presumably no relation to William Jones). Thomas is listed in 1880 in Washington Co., AR (Vineyard Twp.), with Mary Ellen, their first 2 children and Phila and Charley (Eugene had already left for Springfield, MO.)
