Hey, list members who have either lived in Arkansas or have knowledge of families from Arkansas, I need to find someone who might remember a John Smith, b. apx 1862- 64 who married an Indian girl whose last name was Goshen. John was born in Texas and had two half brothers named Thomas Payne and Toby Payne who also were born in Texas. (Don't know where} John, Thomas, and Toby could have migrated to anywhere in Southeast AR and John ended up in Brinkley, AR where he and his wife died in apx 1898-1900. They left 5 orphans (Albert, Belle, Hiram, Lula, and Bryan) to be raised by Tom and Toby Payne in Little Rock, AR. Any little clue would be appreciated.Thanks, darline@wans.net.
