Nixon,aged 78, widow of the late Hugh G. Nixon, died of heart disease at her home in the Spring Hill community at 9 0'clock last night, after an illness of about seven weeks. Mrs. Nixon was a native of Alabama, where she was born February 13, 1859, but had lived in Faulkner county since early childhood. Her father was B.Z. Elliott, an early settler of this county. Mrs. Nixon is survived by two sisters, Mrs. J.P. Hughes and Mrs. Mattie Elliott of Greenbrier; six brothers, G.K., W.H., J.T., C.M., J.H. and B.E. Elliott, all of Greenbrier, six stepsons, J.J. Nixon of Conway, A.M. Nixon of Lonoke, W.G. and J.O. Nixon of Greenbrier, T.T Nixon of Oden, Texas and H.B. Nixon of Little Rock and two stepdaughters, Miss Hattie Nixon of Greenbrier and Mrs. Ollie Milam of Conway. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Springhill Baptist Church, of which Mrs. Nixon was a member for many years, by Rev. W.J. Burgess.
