Here's the background: Nancy R. married Leroy S. Kemp, Sr. He pre-deceased her. She married again (name unknown at this point). The ONLY Nancy Kemp I can find is listed as Gillis, Nancy Kemp on her headstone. My questions: 1) Would her married name from her first husband be used on her tombstone? 2) The birth and death dates of her second husband coincide with the birth and death dates of her first husband. Was my great-grandmother a bigamist or can death dates be wrong on headstones?
