The daughter of Jacob Schnitzius and Barbara Pauli, There is a book by Helbron on the families of Helbron Oberste Best Otten Beske and Schweppenstedde (a Schweppenstedde was my Barney Geesing's best man at his wedding) and others, if you get a chance to peruse do so as it has a lot of valuable info in it. My Maternal Great Grandfather and mother were John Henry Otten and Gertrude Beske and Frances Joseph (Frank) Hellmer and Josephine Klaeger, all who lived in Logan Co. Grand parents maternal side were Angelina Josephine Lena Hellmer and Stephen Andrew Otten son of John Henry Otten. My computer crashed and when I get that all sorted out, bought a new one, will get back to you as all my files were on it and not all had been saved, recovery is being attempted.
