Mary Hardcastle's Father was James R. Hardcastle b-1777/1778 in Rutherford or Johnson Co., North Carolina he prob. died bef. 1833 in Tennessee. Mary's Mother was Belinda or Melinda Covington. So far to the best of my knowledge, my Hardcastle line stayed in the Nevada, Lafayette, Columbia County areas till present day. There were a few children that moved off here and there, but I believe that a lot of the line is still in the area. Mike
