Here in CA we have a siite that has newspapers on reels going back to the early part of the 1900s generally and covering most every county. I often do lookup work in them for folks who can't get to CA but had "black sheep" kin who did. It is on a no fee basis and usually involves just a needed obit or funeral notice, though with a reasonable date, I will try to find the story of when uncle Ebenezer was hung for whatever reason. This place is called the California History Room and is part of the California Archives as I understand it. If anyone reading this needs some help, I would be glad to give it. The only limitation is that I do these on a lunch hour so I need time to get back and forth. Now my other point in mentioning this is that I am wondering how to, and if I can, get a list of any Arkansas newspapers on file at the Arkansas Archives that were published in the year 1904 thru 1908. This query is foundational to sizing up the task of having each of them checked for a few, date specific, items in that time span. ron in CA -----Original Message----- From: Russell Baker <russell.baker@mail.state.ar.us> Sent: Mar 16, 2004 8:56 AM To: AGS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: RE: [AGS] William Melton Archer Sorry, on U.
