    1. Re: [AGS] Available assets: Crum
    2. Hi Asella, I like your email (fulcrum25) .. very cute. Are the folks you want help with in California? If they were, and died here, I can check them thru the California death index and then look for a news item in the county where they died. I am sorry that I can't do that in Arkansas. I bet there are folks in AR who would help though. ron in CA -----Original Message----- From: "Asella M. I have been hunting a long time so there is no rush. They had daughters Mary and Malissa. They are on the 1850 Census in Washington County, Arkansas. There are also land records for George Crum in Mountain Twp., Washington Co., AR. I am hunting for the maiden name of Sally as well as a sons name. It is possible that there would be an obituary or death notice. I am not at all familiar with that area of the country. I often do lookup work in them for folks who can't get to CA but had "black sheep" kin who did. It is on a no fee basis and usually involves just a needed obit or funeral notice, though with a reasonable date, I will try to find the story of when uncle Ebenezer was hung for whatever reason. This place is called the California History Room and is part of the California Archives as I understand it. If anyone reading this needs some help, I would be glad to give it. The only limitation is that I do these on a lunch hour so I need time to get back and forth. Now my other point in mentioning this is that I am wondering how to, and if I can, get a list of any Arkansas newspapers on file at the Arkansas Archives that were published in the year 1904 thru 1908. This query is foundational to sizing up the task of having each of them checked for a few, date specific, items in that time span.
