I am trying to find the parents of my GGGM SARAH ANN GORMAN WALKER (September 10, 1828 - November 24, 1909). She was b in Alabama and died in Union Parish, Louisiana. I believe her parents were SIMPSON GORMAN and VASHTI VANN/VAN GORMAN; though I can find no tangible proof of this. Sarah's 2nd baby was b in Arkansas ca 1851 and must've died shortly thereafter . She has 6 other children who are easily traced through marriages and death in Louisiana. In 1860, GEORGE GORMAN and his family live near Sarah and her family in Union Parish. Later, George moves to Bradley County, Arkansas. I've been to Bradley County looking for some will, probate, etc. that links Sarah with these people. They are in Alabama when Sarah is born. Can anyone help me? I can't even show for sure that Sarah and George Gorman are brother and sister. Any help/suggestion/information/anything sure would be appreciated. Jo Bennett
