Since you do not know where in Arkansas this family lived, the first thing I would do if is was my research, was to located the family on the 1910 U. S. Census. If they are in Arkansas, this will give us the county of residence. It will also give us such information as occupation, etc. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Russell P. George Baker BARNES b. 1863,IL and his wife Mary Bays b. 1869,IL Children: Clerk b. 1898 Schuyler Co.,IL Roger b. 1901 Schuyler Co., IL John b. 1904 Prowers Co., CO (my grandpa) Helen b. 1908 CA Louise b. abt 1912 AR Note that Louise (above) was born in Arkansas. My grandpa John (above) spoke of being raised in AR, however, I do not know where he was raised. The family must have lived in AR sometime between 1905 and 1919 though. George b. 1863 died in 1914 CO (according to an LDS site search) - I have not been able to confirm this though and believe he probably died in AR. Mary (Bays) Barnes was remarried in the 1920 census to Harris Lawrence b. abt 1842 NJ. In 1920 they lived in Los Angeles, CA. I don't know whether they married in AR or CA. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks to all that helped me. A researcher found them living in Piney Fork Twp, Sharp Co., AR on the 1910 census (very helpful, since I did not have access to a 1910 index). Now it should be much easier to identify if George B. Barnes was buried in that area.
