Hello all, I just wanted to thank all of those that replied and had information in my previous request for help finding records on Joseph and Ellen Hamilton. With the leads that I received, I have been able to take Joseph's line back 2 more possibly 3 more generations. Also while researching last night, found out where Joseph and Ellis/Ellen are buried and what year that they died. Thank you all for your help. I now have a couple of questions for you. With information that was provided to me before, I have been able to order a Death Certificate for Joseph and I am preparing to order Ellis's. What I was wondering was, do they have Death Indexes for 1945. I have found that Ellis died in 1945 and is buried with Joseph and one son in Sardis Cemetery, Stamps, Lafayette Co., AR. Her marker only has a birth year and death year. I was hoping to get an exact death date. I also have a very big request. Would it be possible to get a list of any Death and Marriage dates for all Hamiltons listed in Lafayette Co., AR from as early as possible to 1930-1940. I am trying to prove relationships between all of the Hamilton lines in that county and trying to tie them all together. I now that this is a large request, but I would appreciate all of the help that you can offer. I plan on ordering several more Death Certificates as my finances allow. Can someone tell me what Marriage, Birth, and Death Indexes are available and where they might be at. I have looked on the LDS FamilySearch site to order microfilm, but there is hardly any vital records available to order in Lafayette and Nevada Counties. Thank you again for all of your help.
