Oscar Russell is making a great contribution to the genealogical and historical community by indexing death information from the old Arkansas Gazette and the current Arkansas Democrat/Gazette. He donates a copy to the Arkansas Genealogical Society for review in our quarterly publication, The Arkansas Family Historian. The book is then donated by AGS to the Arkansas History Commission. The Arkansas History Commission has these newspapers on microfilm and copies of the obituaries or death notices may be ordered from them. Regarding purchase of his publications, you may contact Oscar Russell by phone or letter at: Oscar F.
