Do all archives have the same information available? If I send off for, let's say, service records at the NARA in Wash., DC, would I get the same info as if I were to go to the archives branch in my backyard in Ft. Worth, TX? And, I know that it is suggested to request "all records," but with this new proposed fee, will they only send the usual $10.00 worth for now until the new $40.00 fee is in effect? I am going to Wash., DC in July or Aug. Would it be better just to wait and do my own research while I am there, and copy what I want, probably at a cost less than $40.00, and I would not receive it for a few months anyway if I sent off for it? I am at a quandary as what by best avenue would be at this point. Any suggestions? Thank you, Kirsten --part1_43.41ff332.263e2c0c_boundary--
