Hempstead County records span 1851 to 1899. The county is located along the Little River in southwestern Arkansas, near the border with Texas. Hope is the county seat. Pike County records span 1875 to 1900. The records for 1877 to 1881 were extracted from the County Court House. The county is located in southwestern Arkansas. Murfreesboro is the county seat.
