Debbie, I attended some classes reacently at the L.DS. and the ladie recomemded a mixture of amonia and water with a SOFT brissel brush and LOTS OF WATER.We cleaned a headstone that was black with fungus and it really needs LOTS OF WATER!!! TO GET IT RINSED OFF hope this helps elbow grease was need also Linda
