As everyone knows , I am still looking for a marriage record of my grandparents, George and mittie Caves, What were the marriage laws pre 1920 in ark? My grandfather took my grandmother out of a bad marriage( probably her second husband, surname Sanders. is it possible that she never filled for her divorce, lived with my grandfather and after seven years became common law( their marriage) the date of their marriage was Jan15,1917 though still searching have not come up with anything> is there a state marriage index say 1905- 1920??? what about cds from the family tree maker, does any one has access to checking out , for me???
