    2. Cathy Sisson
    3. Hello! I'm in need of some help in identifying some photos. When my mother died last year, she left me the photo albums of my grandmother, Susie (Dobbs) Creameans. My ancestors moved around a lot throughout AR, and lived in the following counties: Clay, Fulton, Independence, Izard, Jackson, Jefferson, Lawrence, Marion, Sharp, Poinsett and White. They may have lived in other locations in AR that I'm not aware of yet. Surnames in my family tree include: Barnett, Burton, Carr, Crawford, Creameans, Dobbs, Fredericks, Gittings, Kuykendall, Madison, McCoy, Rush, Speaks, Trotter, Tunstall, Walker and White. There are approximately 100 photos left that I have not been able to identify and I'd like to know if anyone has any ideas as to how I can have these viewed by the greatest number of people. I've posted some to genealogy-related sites but, so far, have had no luck in identifying any of them. Cathy

    1. Re: [AGS] Old Photos
    2. Cathy, You might try www.deadfreds.com which posts photos or on yahoo photos for families is a group which is not very active, but worth a try. Also, you might post on the rootsweb surname lists as well as these that you have the photos. The very best thing you might want to try is a website where you post them with at least the surnames, I don't know all the ins & outs to what shows up in a search engine when something is on a website, but someone else here might be able to help you with that. Also you might check www.myfamily.com for any families with those surnames and let them know. Another place I'd not thought of until lately is Senior Citizen Centers in the areas where the families are from - someone did that with a photo from the area where Dad's family is from, and it was Dad's family! I was notified by some of the seniors there who knew I was related. I hope some of this helps, Jana ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cathy Sisson" <csisson@btc-bci.com> To: <AGS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, August 01, 2004 7:56 PM Subject: [AGS] Old Photos > Hello! > > I'm in need of some help in identifying some photos.
