    1. Marriage Record for Jordan/Lee/Great Grandfather ??? Jordan
    2. Cheryl Parr
    3. Actually, I would be thrilled to find any birth, marriage, where they lived, etc on the Jordan Family or Lee Family that I am looking for which is written about below. I am desparately seeking the family of ??? Jordan for I have no clues at all. I am looking for the marriage record or Bible marriage record of Maggie Belle Lee, daughter of Anson Pollen and Arabella Nicholson (Bedwell) Lee to ??? Jordan. The Lee's were in Copiah Co MS, Terry MS Hinds CO. I think for my computer crashed and I have copies somewhere that I need to re-enter, Anson and his family was in Drew CO AR in 1870, 1880. Maggie Belle Lee and ??? Jordan were married ca 1889 possibly N Little Rock AR for my grandmother was told that she was born there on October 13, 1889 and died in Fort Worth TX on March 3, 1976. She is buried in the Authon Cemetery near Garner which is between Mineral Wells and Weatherford TX Parker CO. When my grandmother, Annie Belle Jordan, was about six months old according to family history when ??? Jordan was killed in a horse riding accident. She is on the 1900 and 1910 Parker CO TX census. I do not have any connections with the Jordan family to which he belonged. I am desparate to find out who he is. Some say his name was John Jordan which is on my grandmother's death certificate. I think that John came from her step-father, John Morgan Freeman, for shortly after ??? Jordan died, Maggie brought her daughter along with other family members who I cannot find descendants to Springtown TX Parker CO which is near Garner, Authon, Dry Creek, Mineral Wells, Weatherford, etc. Maggie died in 1910 after giving birth to the second child of John Freeman. For some reason, I never knew my grandmother half brother, Ira Freeman, until I was in high school. I think he worked for the railroad in OK or AR until he retired and returned to Fort Worth. I also didnt see her half ! sister, Laura Freeman Dawson many times and I guess being young at the time never realized the connection. After she was in a rest home and my grandmother had passed away, I asked her about her mother Maggie and she told me a lot of things to look for and I found that line quickly. Maggie Bell Lee Jordan Freeman, my great grandmother, is buried in Curtis Cemetery in Weatherford TX Parker CO by her second husband, John Freeman and her son, Ira Freeman, and her daughter, Laura Freeman Dawson is there I think. I have located some of Maggie's family, but found nothing of ??? Jordan. Since my email changed and my computer crashed, I lost many of the connections. She has descendants by the ton in Old Times Not Forgotten: Drew Co AR, Rebecca D'Armond (I think ); The Bedwell Family by Larry King; and some books by Carolyn Ericson of Nacogdoches. Some are Wolfe, Ferguson, McManus, Cockerham, Bedwell, Lee, etc. In the late 1960's, my grandmother, Annie, was contacted by Dora McManus who was a sister of Maggie. I was not into genealogy at that time and did not persue her although my grandmother visited her and some others in AR. I hope that descendants from either the Jordan or Lee Families will contact me. Your help would be very appreciated. On my 40th birthday, after I had placed an add in the Jackson MS newspaper, I received a call from a lady who told me where John G Lee, his wife and some of his children were buried. I would have never found them for they were on their land and they had kept the small cemetery nicely. I had her have the local society come and record the cemetery. What a wonderful birthday gift! Thank you, Cheryl Lee Walters Parr clparr@sbcglobal.net

    1. Joseph and/or Jacob Horn
    2. lou nell bath
    3. Joseph and Jacob Horn bought adjoining tracts of land in Marion County, AR in 1876. Joseph is my gg-grandfather, and I feel fairly certain Jacob is either his brother, cousin or uncle. I also believe Joseph is related in some way to the Howell and Harman Horns from Marion Co., because Joseph's grandson, Joe Horn, showed up years later in Frances, OK where several of the Harman Horn descendants lived; even married the widow Margaret Jones, another family intertwined with the Horns. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Lou Nell HUTCHISON Bath Grove, OK

    1. Marriage Record
    2. Hello Everyone: I am looking for the marriage record of Samuel Haney (Hanie) to Jennie Gertrude Carrico. The date is probably around 1898 to 1900. In the 1900 Census for Whitley Township, Crawford County, Arkansas it shows that Samuel and Jennie were living with his parents Edward and Mary. Samuel was born in Crawford County, Arkansas and Jennie was born in Coles County, Illinois. I want to thank those of you who helped me find Samuel's parents. Thank you for researching this for me. Sincerely, Lori Haney Clem
