    1. [AGS] Riverboats on the AR & MS Rivers
    2. Bruce: Try askjeeves. Ask the question about riverboat captains. You might have to ask several times with different wording but you will find information you're looking for. My gg-grandfather, Gibson Morrison and his brother, James Morrison, were both riverboat captains. You might be interested in Jerry Morrison's information in the Pope County, Arkansas section. He has information pertaining to the Civil War and the attack on Gibson Morrison's riverboat, the Annie Jacobs on the Arkansas River. This article can be found at http://www.rootsweb.com/~arpope2/gibson.htm. Also, you may want to contact the Mississippi River Museum, Mike Gibbon at Loras College who is the archivist in the history library at mgibson@loras.edu. Hope this helps you. Let me know and if it doesn't, I'll get you more information if possible. Joyce

    1. [AGS] {not a subscriber} 1900 Look-up (Stubbs)
    2. R Kemp
    3. Hi folks! Would someone do a look up in the 1900 census for William "Willie" Stubbs and his wife, Mollie Stubbs? They should have a 'Narsis' or 'May' and a 'Sylvanis' or 'Vann' with them. I have check in the soundex and the census for the county they should have been in 1900. Both drew blanks. I have also checked the soundex for the 2 other most likely states they were in (no luck). Apparently there is an index in paper copy listing all the people in all the counties. I would be very grateful if someone could check there in case I missed these people. Thank you, Rebecca ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
