    2. List, How does one go about finding church records for Pike County? Is that possible? I just received church records from Ohio and boy was I surprised. They were just packed with information, pages and pages of births, deaths, and marriages. Sandy in Oregon

    1. [AGS] Robert B Wright Family
    2. Budd Rice
    3. I am searching for information on the Robert B Wright Family which I believed lived near Little Rock around 1870 and on. Robert was from Ohio where he was an editor and publisher of a newspaper and I suspect that he may have continued with that profession in Arkansas. He had at least one son and two daughters, Charles B, Mrs J L Tam and Mary Elizabeth (b. 7 Jan 1850 near Springfield, Ohio). Mary Elizabeth married David Rice, my g grandfather, in 1870. David and his brother C H Rice had a cotton farm (1200 acreas) outside of Little Rock and also ran freight between Memphis and Little Rock via steamboat between 1870 and 1879 at a which time David and Mary Elizabeth moved to Leadville, Colorado. I would appreciate any information regarding the Wright or Rice families.
