Sometime during the next few days or week, RootsWeb will be upgrading the list server which hosts the AGS-L (and D) mailing lists. If everything goes as planned, this upgrade will be transparent to users of the list. However, there is a chance that some messages or subscribe/unsubscribe requests may be delayed for several hours. No messages or requests will be lost. Please be patient and give the RootsWeb staff time to clear the problem before sending follow-up messages or requests. These will not get through any quicker and will just confuse the situation. With any luck at all this will be done without anyone even noticing. The new server will allow our our list to operate more smoothly and process messages more quickly. Thanks, Jan Davenport AGS List Administrator
Looking for a Thomas Nunnley that married a Ray. She is the daughter of M.C. "Cage" and Rachel Bowen Ray. She has several siblings. At the time of the marriage, I think she was living in Johnson Co., Arkansas and then moved to Missouri after being married. My mother is the granddaughter to her sister, Bertha Ray Johnson. Any information will be appreciated. Please email. Thanks. Missy lwagner@cswnet.com

Hi List Member I have noticed that someone said that Casa was in Perry county, AR. My question is -is it a town or more importantly was it a town in the early 1900's? Could someone tell me where I could send for a copy of a marriage certificate ? This is where my grandparents were married around 1922 to 1924. I appreciate this mailing list very much. Thanks to all

Would someone see if there is a death record for Nancy R. GILLIS or Nancy R. KEMP (died 11/7/35) in Grant County, AR.? Perhaps more experienced genealogists can answer a question. Here's the background: Nancy R. married Leroy S. Kemp, Sr. He pre-deceased her. She married again (name unknown at this point). The ONLY Nancy Kemp I can find is listed as Gillis, Nancy Kemp on her headstone. My questions: 1) Would her married name from her first husband be used on her tombstone? 2) The birth and death dates of her second husband coincide with the birth and death dates of her first husband. Was my great-grandmother a bigamist or can death dates be wrong on headstones?
