Hi, It's me again looking for those Burgoynes. Henry(40) MS. was with his family at the time of the 1880 census in Harper Township. with the following: Mary E. 38 AL. All of the children were born in Arkansas. George Burgoyne 13 Ozella11 T.T. 9 son L.V. 4 } Daus V. P. 4 Luther 8 Mos. I believe Henry Burgoyne married Mary E. in Drew County. He married Ella Haskins in 1890 Cleveland County Ark. The marriage only lasted 6 months. I do not know if Mary E. died before he married Ella or not. Any type of lookups for finding out the maiden name of Mary E. will be most appreciated . Thank you , Pat kittyink @aol.com

Thanks Mary Ann >> Mary Ann, Don't know where you live, but Mississippi is notorious for not helping -- I tried to get a copy of my parents' marriage certificate (I have seen the original - I knew the county and year they were married) and was informed they did not have a record of the marriage. This I knew to be in error. About the only way I know to obtain information from them is to go to the county/state archives in person (or hire a professional). I have tried to obtaIn copies of death certificates and was informed no such record existed. So I no longer make donations to the State of Mississippi. Good hunting. Mary in Texas
