Children: - James Willard ADRIAN (1858 - 1933) died in Mattoon, Coles Cty., IL +Zara Ellen HOUGHTON (d: 1938) (kids: Martha, George Byron, Roy James, Glen Houghton, Frank Lemuel, Laura) - Madison M. ADRIAN (b: Abt. 1854) -- also seen as "Matthew" - Mary E. ADRIAN (b: Abt. 1860) - George W. ADRIAN (b: Abt. 1863) The 1870 census shows an elderly Elizabeth TIPTON living with them in Illinois. Her birthplace is shown as Maryland. I have strong feelings that this family will connect with the ADRIAN lines that went to Ohio from Maryland, but John has been a bugger to connect with anyone!
