Since there are not many Adrian families, the only ones I know of are from Maryland and went into Ohio. My Sarah Adrian, b. in 1794 in Baltimore, was married to John Conrad Hesser in 1809 in Jefferson County, OH. There were other Adrians who lived in Baltimore. My Sarah's father was Jacob Adrian, but earlier in his life, he was Jacob Sedgwick. He had brothers named Mathias, George and Christian. Since their mother was named Sarah Adrian, perhaps they also named a daughter, Sarah. If you want more information on this family, let me know. I have a record of a court case that resulted in the brothers changing their name from Sedgwick to Adrian. Their grandfather was Christian Adrian. Judith K.
