The past few weeks have been full of surprises, the first being [email protected] I've always had a terrible sense of curiosity and really did it this time. I wanted to see what it was and subscribed to it but couldn't get off, no matter what I did. I was getting about 100 hits a day, that was when the computer was really acting up. I wasn't in the mood to hear about ships, how many stacks and so on. Sprinkled in between were some people asking about their relatives, they had little to go on except their birthdays. Before I got off this site I thought I'd ask about the mysterious Adrian and Kusch families. I was shocked when mail came back telling me when and where they arrived. The Adrian's still were quite a mystery. While I had the towns where Herman Adrian was born, Mroze W. Prussia 3 Jan 1846, his father Heinrich Adrian born in 1815 and his father's name was Gottfried. Even with the information I had, I couldn't find their actual records or any further information. One big question, how did Herman Adrian from W. Prussia meet Bertha Kaminske from Regenwalde Parish Pomerania. I started to research the Kaminske family, finding out what I could on Regenwalde Parish and guess what, the Adrian's were there, Big Time. Stramehl, Kreis Regenwalde, Pommern. My Uncle use to mention how the Adrian family use to take trips but he never went into detail. I have yet to connect those Adrian's to our immediate family but research sure has become interesting. I have little doubt Herman met Bertha while visiting his relatives in Regenwalde. For those researching the Adrian family, it's another area to check out. Carol
