His wifes name was Adeline or Angeline. They had at least 3 daughters. 1-Maggie B1892 m.John H. Burgess, 2-Susie "May" B1898 m.George Alfred Burton 3-"Wonnie" B1900 m.James Kurle Sr.. All I have are vague stories to go by and a few names that were mentioned: John Hatfield, Owen Adkins, ?Abbott, these were the "men with all the power" in this family and were not mentioned in high reguards. Not sure where they lived before KY (?TN or WV). I know of some one shooting at someone on the courthouse steps etc., stories are pretty hard to believe but some things have checked out. Can you help? May Adkins/Burton was my gg-grandmother born abt1852.
