I'm looking to pad my family tree on the Adkins side! These ancestors are all from Pike/Floyd Counties, Kentucky. My great great grandmother was Mary E. Adkins, born October 14, 1844 and died December 10, 1922. She married Ira R. Stephens. Mary's father was Elisha Adkins and her mother was Serena May Damron. I've also seen Rosanna Serena May. I have a boat-load of Adkins in my tree, and lots of common names, but no info that I can find so far to link Elisha with the rest. I thought I remembered years ago seeing his father as Winright Adkins. Winright is my ancestor, too, on another side! Does anyone recognize this family? I'd love to hear from you.
