Henderson was adopted by a Press Adkins living in Elliot County, Kentucky in 1900. My Grandfather and my Ant told me a little of what they know. My grandfather said his Great-Granfather married an Indian and she was from Oklahoma. My grandfather also mentioned that he had a great -great- or great - grandmother Tuwatha. My Grandfather lives in Tera Haute, Indiana and the next time I hear from him I will try to find out more. I think he said the Indian was Hendersons mother.
