I am enjoying the accounting of this particular Adkins. I have some Adkins info on my gr grandfather Benjamin Colledge Adkins who came to Mississippi in 1873 and his ancestors are very interesting. Ben was born in 1844 in Coventry, County of Warwick and I have some info on Adkins there and also in Australia. Who knows? There may be a connection on down the line.
