Norma Adkins ABINGDON--Mrs. Norma Williamson Adkins, 56, formerly of Cedar Bluff, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001, in an Abingdon hospital following a long illness. Born at Cedar Bluff on Jan 20, 1945, she was the daughter of Mrs. Cora Stamper Williamson of Bristol, Va., and the late Gaius Fletcher (Bud) Williamson. She was a member and former secretary of Full Gospel Temple Church at Richlands. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 20 years. Mr. Charley Adkins of Abingdon; two sisters, Mrs. Gayna Johnson of Richlands and Mrs. Roger (Donna) Mullins of Belfast, Va.; one brother, Donald Williamson of Bristol, Va.; two stepsons, Pearly D. Adkins of South Carolina and Charley J. Adkins of Abingdon; two stepdaughters, Ginger McLain of Charlotte, N.C. and Mrs. Anitte Norris of Abingdon; 12 step-grandchildren; one step-great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and church family also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, in Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff with Rev. Tony Shrader and Rev. Paul Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens Cemetery at Claypool Hill, Va. Pallbearers will be Richard Blankenship, Patrick O'Connell, Thomas Stranger, Jerry Barrett, Michael Mitchell and Mark Mitchell. The family will receive friends at Singleton Funeral Service at Cedar Bluff from 6-9 p.m. Friday. Singleton Funeral Service at Cedar Bluff is serving the Adkins Family. Note: I am of no relation
