MEREDITH WHITT married SARAH SALLIE ADKINS July 18, 1822 in Pike County Kentucky. Their Children : ALCY WHITT was born in Pike County Kentucky, and died in Morgan County Kentucky. She married WILLIAM CALIFORNIA ADKINS June 15, 1845 in Grant Co. WI. He was born in Pike Co., Kentucky. SARAH WHITT, m. JOHN DILLION, January 02, 1859, Wisconsin; ELIZA JANE WHITT,d. Bascobel,Grant County Wisconsin. JOHN WHITT married SARAH in Grant County Wisconsin. MATTHEW E.ADKINS was born 1849 in Grant County Wisconsin. Wis. b. 1949 Meredith and Sarah are on the 1840 Morgan Co. Census. They must have moved from Morgan Co. Ky where Eliza was born in 1843, to Wisconsin abt. 1844 As their daughter Alcy married their in 1845. Meridith and Charles Whitt both purchased land in Grant County Wisconsin in 1859, So Meredith sons stayed in Wis. Alcy and William are in Morgan in 1846, WI. 1849, and back in Morgan in 1852.
