She always had a photo of Governor Adkins (1941-44). Have not been able to link the Governor to immediate relatives. We are the descendants of Abraham Adkins b. 1827, OH, migrated to Nebraska, Missouri, and Arkansas. Great Grandfather's children were George, William, Thomas, John, Isaac, William; Rose, Amanda, Rebecca, Julia. He married Julia Catherine Withem and the family settled in Little River, Miller, and perhaps Johnson, Arkansas. I am stuck trying to locate Great Great Grandfather Adkins so that I may determine Aunts and Uncles, perhaps Ohio or Nebraska.
