I am looking for the ancestors of John Stanton Adkins, b 1800 in either NC or VA. He was in TN at least by 1835 as the birth of his oldest son, Sterling, is reported to have been in TN. Any info as to where John Stanton Adkins 'came from' would be appreciated! Thank you, Jennifer Ayers
