Thank you for the info. about Henderson's other children. If you wonder how I'm related my Grandfather is Asher A. Adkins b. 1937 in Pike County, KY. He was a son of Guy Adkins b. 1908 in Ohio and Hazel Hall b. abt. 1916 in Pike County, KY. I have been trying to research the Adkins line and have been unable to find much out about Henderson and Meda. According to my Aunt Lisa; Henderson Adkins was adopted by an Adkins and his biological fathers surname was Howard my Grandpa Asher told her that. I've been unable to find any records or clues to find out who his parent's and other ancestor's were. The same with his wife Meda A. Damron. I found a Henderson Adkins who was a step-son of the Head of the Household in the 1900 census of Devils Fork, Elliot County, Kentucky who I suspect may be the Henderson Adkins I'm looking for.
